STRONG (the New Skinny)

This page is dedicated to fitness. I suffered from anorexia as a teen and have struggled to find a healthy balance between mind and body since then. Now I want to be a mama who is strong, one that my daughter can look up to. I don't want to preoccupied with the number on the scale. I don't own one, and never will. I don't count calories (that was how my eating disorder began). It is a mind state, a lifestyle, and an everyday fight when we live in a society that tells us to follow this diet and workout with that program, be a certain size and look the way photo shopped magazine models look. I'll be sharing fitness tips and am working on a routine to share! I look forward to any comments or questions!
