Nutrition- Don't Eat Less, Just Eat Right!

So recently I approached a coaching program where you drink a shake in the morning, 4 hours later you eat a meal, and another 4 hours later you have your last meal. You fast for 12 hours and start the whole thing again. Keep in mind there is no snacking in between. The idea is to shock your body and rev up your metabolism. I don't want to dis any one diet or lifestyle choice, but for me this is NOT going to happen. I like to eat, I eat a lot, I graze like the whole day! So while this may work for some people, I am here to tell you that you do not have to starve yourself to lose weight and certainly not to be healthy. This page is dedicated to healthy, whole food that tastes delicious and makes you feel great, not guilty.

Gluten-Free Pizza

Bobs Red Mill is wonderful! I I got a bag of Gluten Free Pizza Dough Mix. This was so simple and delicious. Follow the instructions for the pizza dough and add whatever toppings you like! I piled on the meat and cheese for my husbands pizza, but snuck in some fresh kale and mushrooms to get his veggies in. For mine, did a half pesto, kalamata olive, artichoke, and tomato and half no-corn syrup BBQ chicken with kale and tomatoes. I didn't add much cheese as I'm limiting dairy, but you can make it anyway your heart desires!
