Organizing Medicine Cabinet
What I used:
Dollar Tree Containers
Shoe organizer
Spice Rack
Drawers from thrift store
After pulling everything out of the closet, I wiped down the shelves and lined them with paper bags. I threw away any expired medications, including creams, sunscreen...
Put like items on the same shelf to prevent misplacing anything. The organization drawers are great for extra toothbrushes, soap, deodorant....I have small one for nail files and other small items. The shoe door hanger is awesome for hair products and accessories.
Fruit and Veggie Wash:
*I try to do this as soon as I get back from the grocery store. It will limit the amount of critters that creep their way into your kitchen and make your produce stay fresher longer.
Scrub fruit/veggies with a brush in luke warm water
Place in large bow or clean sink and fill with cool water.
Add a cup of vinegar and 1/2 cup lemon juice
Let sit for 20 min-1 hour
Drain and rinse
Lay on towel to air dry then store the way you normally would.
Fruit and Veggie Wash
Sanitizing Spray:
1/4 cup grain alcohol (I used Everclear)
1/4 cup distilled water (I used cooled boiled water)
15-20 Simply Earth's Clean and Fresh oil blend
Amber Glass spray bottle (Any dark glass will work)
Add contents to spray bottle and spray away!
*This can be used as an air freshener, carpet spray, or surface cleaner. I even spray it on my couch to remove stains. (Test color fastness before trying this)
*I make a small amount because I want it to stay fresh. Since I use it frequently I could probably double the amount of alcohol and water but would probably only add a few more drops of EO.
